MDPI MISSION STATEMENT 

“Our mission is to enhance the knowledge, skills and expertise of personnel in all spheres of institutional development by reinforcing the capability of middle and top-level executives in public and private sectors, as well as non-governmental organisations (NGOs) throughout Africa by way of providing world class training programmes in management training, organisational and institutional capacity development, as well as research, high quality advisory and consulting service in order to enable them  manage their organisations and enterprises productively, efficiently and effectively.”


VISION     

In accordance with our mission, the vision of MDPI in this millennium is to become a market leader and a world-class centre of excellence in Management training,Consultancy and Research, by consistently adopting and introducing new and improved managerial capacity development methods, skills and practices in our training, consultancy and research activities

We aspire to become a caring, distinguished institution that is committed to high training standards and services, operated by dedicated professionals, providing quality training and opportunities that meet the needs of organisations in Africa and the rest of the developing world.

Objectives     

MDPI courses are designed to achieve the following objectives:

  1. to enhance the knowledge and apply the advanced skills which make excellent managers and administrators in industry and government as well as non-governmental organisations;
  2. to embark upon practical aspects of training and problem solving with a view to improving organisational structures, administrative and management procedures and development policies related to socio-economic needs;
  3. to conduct research, produce publications, and provide consultancy services to instill corporate culture and values in the workplace;
  4. to create a learning atmosphere where participants, staff and administrators are as diverse in terms of nationality, culture and gender as possible, yet are unified in the goal of providing a quality learning experience
to improve the professional expertise, efficiency and effectiveness of middle and senior-level personnel in the best ways of consolidating the vitality of their organisations in the continuously changing domestic and international environments.

MDPI Policies

MDPI training policies are guided by both national and international training policy standards. These are:

  1. Employing the most effective strategies, skills, techniques and practices in the provision of quality and efficient services in line with national, regional and international training policies;
  2. Endeavouring to employ quality facilitators with very solid backgrounds in development issues, commerce, and industrial management;
  3. Ensuring institutional growth and development and the attainment of our set objectives for the benefit of parastatals, as well as public and private sectors of the economy;
  4. Striving for excellence in service delivery by keeping abreast with the latest technological advancement.
  5. Developing an administrative group of experts who are skillful, efficient, progressive and advanced in line with scientific development and technique of management;

  1. Regularly designing and updating our training programmes to respond to changing African and global training needs;
  2. Consistently improving the training techniques and facilities to meet current technological innovations;
  3. Undertaking specialized research-based consultancy services tailored to the distinctive needs of individual organisations.
